ViaWest Plans the Opening of Sixth Dallas-Area Data Center
New facility expands ViaWest’s footprint to 16 data centers nationally

Denver – September 15, 2008 – ViaWest, a leading provider of adaptable colocation and managed hosting solutions, today announced that construction is underway on the company’s sixteenth enterprise-class data center. The data center, located in the InfoMart in Dallas, will be the fifth ViaWest data center at that location, and the sixth in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area.

The opening of the new Dallas facility is slated for late fourth quarter of 2008. With the opening, ViaWest will increase its companywide usable raised floor capacity to greater than 260,000 square feet, enhancing the company’s status as the largest privately-held provider of out-sourced data center space in North America. The state-of-the-art data center is being constructed with enhanced security and specialized power systems that are designed to deliver a dedicated high density infrastructure environment. Like all ViaWest facilities, this data center will be staffed 24x7x365 with experienced engineers and offer clients high availability network connectivity.
